Use sketching and gathered samples to come up with ideas for your line. Think about color schemes, materials and look at what your competition is like. Get organized. Write down everything you need to get done and create a deadline for each thing so you stay on top of each stage.
Before the sample development, you should give yourself several months for the creation and design stages.
