11:19 AM Understanding Australian Vaporizers! |
Before we get into what to look for in Australian vaporizers, I think it’s very important to understand what a dry herb vaporizer is and how it works. In modern times, the best starting place for understanding these is to look at a very similar, but not quite identical, product known as a vape. A vape utilizes a heating coil, a battery, a tiny little circuitboard for managing these and some sort of juice made of an active ingredient, glycerin and flavoring. The coil heats it, turning it to vapor which you then inhale and enjoy in a much healthier way than smoking.
The biggest difference, on a purely scientific level, between this and a dryer vaporizer is simply what it derives that vapor from, it not being a juice or E-liquid like it is with a vape. Instead, a chamber is provided in which you can pack tobacco or other dry herbs, and this chamber is very poor and oxygen which prevents the herbs or tobacco from igniting when exposed the extreme heat from the coil. Instead, the oils evaporate for you to enjoy, with no burning more any of the nastiness involved with actual smoke.
While the healthiness of things you derived from Australian vaporizers depends entirely upon what it is you’re putting in there, among other things beyond the control of the manufacturer, it is, not unlike vape, much healthier than smoking for a host of reasons. Not only is burning something dangerous for various practical reasons, but things like secondhand smoke and waste – create unpleasant odors and filthiness that nobody likes. Smoke is also made of ash and carcinogenic compounds which is why that smoke is so unhealthy for people when inhaled. Any smoke is bad, but tobacco smoke is exceptionally toxic due to the tar and nastiness produced by burning tobacco.
So, now that you understand these devices, you are probably wondering what to look for in Australian vaporizers specifically. In Australia, New Zealand and much of the EU, electronics manufacturers produce superior products to those found in the United States or Southeast Asia, though this is debatable when it comes to computing devices possibly.
A good vaporizer from Australia will offer a backlit LED display or LCD display to show temperature, as well as buttons to easily set that temperature. It will also have a very solid battery that can charge quickly and perform for a long period of time without needing such a charge. It can also heat rapidly, and it can pull as much oil as physically possible out of the herb, reducing waste and letting you get more out of it with each use.
While as I said, there is no guarantee about just how healthy this is, it is guaranteed to be healthier than smoking as well as cleaner and less offensive to others. However, do bear in mind that you can’t use these anywhere that smoking is prohibited for the most part, the new legislation may change that in some countries, but you can expect the United States to be the last one of these countries to make any changes to that.
